Design tools
One thing I love about my job is that I get to be creative with a pencil and paper almost everyday. This is always how I begin your designs, then I progress to using Revit, which is the top of the line architectural software by AutoCad. Your plans and eventual construction drawings will be produced using Revit, which ensures accuracy and precision with dimensions, framing and meeting building codes. These plans and drawings will be provided to you in .pdf format, so they can be viewed on any PC or mobile device and can easily be shared with friends and family.
AutoCAD
AutoCAD is a very popular software application that has been used in the architectural field for decades. CAD stands for “computer-aided design,” and allows a designer to make two dimensional drawings (2D) to the most minuscule level possible, which is essential for clarity and detail. Three dimensional (3D) tools, commonly used to draw houses and buildings, have also been around for some time and have become essential in today’s age of design. Initially, these tools were very expensive for a small company to purchase and use, but today they are much more affordable.
